Dr. Weaver earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency and internship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He has been in practice since 2005.

Dr. Weaver is trained to perform some of most advanced brain and spine procedures including minimally invasive procedures and robotic surgery. Other conditions treated include: Brain, Spinal, and Peripheral Nerve Tumors; Spine Trauma and Traumatic Brain Injury; Degenerative and Acquired Spinal Conditions; CSF Shunts; Stereotactic Radiosurgery; and Trigeminal Neuralgia Peripheral Nerve Decompression (i.e., Carpal Tunnel and Ulnar Nerve)

 

Thomas Belknap, MD

Dr. Belknap earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, NY, before going on to complete his residency and internship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Dr. Belknap is trained to perform some of most advanced brain and spine procedures including minimally invasive spine surgery. Bart MacDonald, MD

A native of Georgia and graduate of Georgia Tech, Dr. Bart MacDonald attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia and completed his internship at the University of Florida. During his neurosurgical residency, Dr. MacDonald trained at Harvard’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Boston when he had the opportunity to train with the leaders in the fields of Neurovascular surgery and Neuro-oncology. He then completed his residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch.

Dr. MacDonald focuses on minimally invasive surgeries and conservative spine treatments so that the patient can expect to have the highest level of technology balanced with the highest level of concern for his or her well-being. This includes using microsurgical, minimally invasive, and percutaneous techniques to spinal surgery including stereotactic and robotic spine surgery. In the end, his goal is to walk with the patient and the patient’s family through a very trying and difficult time with compassion combined with technical expertise.

 

Herschel Beker, MD

A former Chief of Staff at North Fulton Hospital, Dr. Beker is one of the original members of Resurgens Orthopaedic and a long standing member of the hospital’s medical staff. Dr. Beker completed his training at Emory School of Medicine and its affiliated Hospitals. His area of expertise includes adult disorders of the Spine, Spine Surgery and Kyphoplasty.
