After graduating from the University of Georgia, Dr. Joel earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, and completed an internship at Eugene Talmadge Memorial Hospital. At Vanderbilt, Dr. Joel completed an anesthesiology residency and a fellowship with concentrations in chronic pain management and OB anesthesia. Board-certified in both pain management and anesthesiology, he has served as the Medical Director for the Pain and Spine Center since 1990 and is a part of the North Fulton Anesthesia Group.
Dr. Dammanna is a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained interventional pain physician. After completing his internship in general surgery at the University of South Alabama Medical Center, he completed an anesthesiology residency and later an Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. There, he trained extensively in regional anesthesia and pain management procedures.
After graduating from Emory University with a degree in Chemistry, Dr. Wada earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He then completed a surgical internship at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu and a residency and fellowship in anesthesiology and pain management at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. Dr. Wada has conducted research with the National Institutes of Health’s National Institutes of Neurological Disorders and Strokes. He is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine.
Michele Chen has been dedicated to providing patients with personal care for more than 12 years, and has been devoted to helping her patients with pain management for the last three years. Michele earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of North Alabama, and then attended the University of Maryland in Baltimore where she earned a graduate degree as an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner, with a focus in Oncology. Michele has worked as a Clinical Nurse, Oncology Nurse, and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, gaining knowledge and experience in patient care and pain management. In addition, she has had research published in the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing and has been an invited presenter at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Michele lives in Roswell with her husband and two young sons.
